Bracing Neighbors’ 2025-2027 programs are co-designed with the communities to empower women and youth, to nurture the skills they already have, to create opportunities, and driving sustainable development. From entrepreneurship training to renewable energy initiatives, our programs address systemic challenges while building resilience and independence.

Equipping individuals with the tools they need creates a ripple effect of resilience, independence, and community transformation.

Bridging Gaps, Building Relationships

Community Engagement and Community Building Framework

Using an adapted “out of poverty” framework, this program promotes collaboration between community leaders, private sector entities, and participants. Together, we build financial, emotional, and social resources while fostering cross-class respect and understanding.

  • Behavioral changes for financial independence.
  • Enhanced financial literacy and collaborative relationships.

Entrepreneurship and Business Advisory Program

This program provides women aged 25-60 with comprehensive training in marketing, finance, and business strategy. Participants learn to create business plans and benefit from mentorship. Exceptional graduates are teamed with international corporations, world renowned designers, and receive support to launch and sustain their craft-export businesses.

Empowering Women Entrepreneurs
Illuminating Futures with Solar Technology

Renewable Energy Capacity Building

Focused on women, and youth aged 18-30, this program trains participants in solar energy installation and maintenance. Graduates develop business plans, receive tools kits, and small loans to start their "solar ventures" - consulting maintenance, repair, and instillation.
Key Outcomes:
  • Job creation in renewable energy.
  • Technical expertise and hands-on experience.
  • Financial independence through green initiatives, and advocacy for clean energy

Beading and Embroidery Skill Program

Participants learn ancestral beading and embroidery techniques, aligning creative skills with market demands in the artisanal sector. Top graduates are connected with leading corporations, renowned global designers, and receive comprehensive support to launch and sustain their export-focused craft businesses.

Crafting Opportunities Through Artistry
Nurturing Growth Through Sustainable Agriculture

Agro-Entrepreneurship Program

This program trains stay-at-home mothers, and out-of-school girls in farming, goat and poultry husbandry, and eco-friendly agricultural practices. Participants receive livestock as loans and form associations for mutual support and sustainability.
Key Outcomes:
  • Improved access to home-grown food for stay-at-home mothers and their families.
  • Increased income through agricultural enterprises.
  • Promotion of sustainable farming practices and collective empowerment.
