Achieve tangible results in a harsh environment

Being Haitian natives, we have always wanted to be more involved in solutions for our country. We realized that in order to see changes in Haiti, we had to get involved and from there we decided to be more implicated in social activities that we could manage making use our experience and background in order to have impact. We are believers for Haiti to change, all Haitians must have access to basic business tools and affordable financing, this would give an opportunity for growth, and this is what gave birth to our project KORE VWAZEN. KORE in kreyole means "to brace" and VWAZEN "Neighbor". We are committed to effective environmental conservation and community governance through strong partnerships. Together with our partners and volunteers, we conserve healthy forests, provide clean water, improve the protection of marine areas and species, and encourage future generations of conservationists and community workers. We aim to work with youth in acheiving these key objectives: • Have access to capital and get accustomed to using financial institutions to finance activity.• Recognize and identify risk in their activity.• Recognize and identify asset or collateral.• Manage more efficiently their resources financial and human.• Manage efficiently their finances.• Get accustomed to saving for future events.

Our key priorities

The project development objective is to increase the growth of, and innovation in, select startups and micro, small, and medium enterprises, the project will be made up of three components.
Identification and Training
We reached out to the business owners, residents, community/region leaders, and municipalities in each of the areas of the Les Cayes. This consultation process was to collect input on projects and initiatives they would like to see implemented in the region to improve the economy are using on the field data to guide us in selecting our potential participants.
Coaching and mentoring in business development
After data collection we identify the needs of the busoness leaders and prepared coaching session for each level identified. Ensuring the mindset for entrepreneurship, and providing our beneficiaries with organizational tools and knowledge.
Lending
With the help of our donors and partners we set a garantee fund providing capital through loans at an affordable rate.
